Teaching Today, Leading Tomorrow - Libbey Elementary

Learning, Leading, and Growing Together!
In December, our first graders had an exciting learning opportunity with a special visit from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department! Students explored a variety of animal pelts, antler sheds, and skulls, learning fascinating facts about wildlife that live right here in Wyoming.
Hands-on experiences like this spark curiosity and help our young learners connect science lessons to the world around them. We’re so thankful for our community partners who share their expertise and help bring learning to life!
Our kindergarteners had a wonderful time celebrating Wyoming Day! Students explored the symbols, stories, and landscapes that make our state so special. From learning about our state flag and wildlife to discovering fun facts about Wyoming history, our young learners were full of curiosity and Cowboy State pride!
Days like this help students build connections to their community and deepen their understanding of the place they call home. We love watching their excitement grow as they learn about the great state of Wyoming!
