Teaching Today, Leading Tomorrow - Libbey Elementary

Our students at Libbey Elementary recently enjoyed two wonderful learning experiences filled with curiosity, connection, and community!
Our first graders traveled to the University of Wyoming’s Geology Museum and Planetarium, where they explored fascinating exhibits, learned about rocks, fossils, and dinosaurs, and experienced the wonders of space during a special planetarium presentation. Hands-on learning opportunities like these inspire students to ask questions, think critically, and discover more about the world around them! 🌟🦖
Meanwhile, our kindergarten students welcomed special guests for a heartwarming Grandparent Tea and Book Reading. Students enjoyed sharing stories, reading together, and spending meaningful time with grandparents and loved ones. It was a beautiful celebration of literacy, relationships, and the joy of learning together. 💙📖
We are so thankful for the families, community members, and partners who help create these memorable experiences for our students each day!
