Learning Lives Here - Peak High School
Thanks to a grant from the Wyoming Department of Education, Peak High School students had the opportunity to experience the arts firsthand with a special trip to see The Outsiders at the Buell Theatre in Denver, Colorado.
As students have been studying The Outsiders in the classroom, seeing the story come to life on stage provided a memorable connection between literature and the performing arts. Students enjoyed the powerful acting, singing, and 9-piece band that brought the story and its characters to life in a whole new way.
The experience allowed students to step beyond the classroom and see firsthand how a beloved book can be transformed into a dynamic live performance. It was an exciting and meaningful opportunity for Peak High School students to experience the arts.
