Do you know a teacher who is dedicated,  inspiring, and making a difference in Platte1?

The classroom teacher is the backbone of the American educational system. No one person has a greater impact on the  education of a child than does the teacher who creates the primary learning and instructional environment and:
               ∙ inspires students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn;
               ∙ has the respect and admiration of students, parents, and colleagues;
               ∙ plays an active and useful role in the community as well as in the school;
               ∙ be poised, articulate, and have the energy to withstand a busy schedule; and
               ∙ demonstrates high levels of academic achievement for his/her students.

                        Nominate a teacher for the Platte County School District #1 Teacher of the Year Award.

To nominate a teacher for the Platte County School District Teacher of the Year Award, please submit this form by April 1, 2025.

                            The Platte County School District Teacher of the Year becomes eligible for the
                                                                Wyoming Teacher of the Year Award.

Do you know a Support Staff person who is dedicated, inspiring, and making a difference?

The support staff person is the front-line worker at PCSD#1. No one person has a greater impact on the people they serve
daily. The support staff person also:
                   inspires co-workers;
                   has the respect and admiration of students, parents, and colleagues;
                   plays an active and useful role in the smooth operation of their department & building;
                   is a dedicated member of their department or team helping us to move in a positive direction

                                         Nominate a Support Staff person for the Platte County School District
                                                          “Support Staff Employee of the Year” Award.
