On Thursday, March 11, 2021, the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act was signed into law. It is an unprecedented $1.9 trillion package of assistance measures, including $122 billion for the ARP Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) Fund. Funds are provided to State educational agencies and school districts to help safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the Nation’s students.

Communication during this pandemic has been paramount to the success we have been seeing throughout the district. The funds that have been made available to our district have allowed us to grow individual students, meet the needs of our staff and stakeholders, as well as do some creative initiatives for our buildings.
The following information is for the ESSER Grants that we have received during our response to the pandemic. The grants are: CARES I, CARES II, CARES III (aka ARP), GEER I, and GEER II. These grants are complex and we encourage you to discuss any questions with the district office.
