PCSD#1 2020-21 Calendar Amended at Special Board Meeting

On Monday, July 27, the PCSD#1 Board of Trustees held a Special Board Meeting to approve the amended 2020-21 School Year Calendar which includes a later start date for students.  Acting Superintendent Cory Dziowgo explained that the new start date for students will be Monday, Aug 24th and not Wednesday, Aug 19th.  The students will make-up the 3 day later start on the days that were originally scheduled for Professional Development days for the teachers.  The 3 make-up days for students will be Friday, Dec 4th, Friday, March 5th, and Friday, May 7th. Since the 3 make-up days meet State requirements, the end of the school year will not be extended.  The teachers will make-up their Professional Development days on Aug 19-21, 2020.  Teachers will still begin their 1st day on Monday, Aug 17. Click on the link below to view the amended 2020-21 calendar:
