October is National Principal Month and we wanted to take a moment to profile one of our Administrative Cabinet Members.

Mrs. Micah Becker is the principal of Wheatland Middle School and is in her second year with the District as an administrator. She was an alternative high school teacher at Peak High School before joining the administration cabinet. Mrs. Becker has always had a heart for middle school students and has previously taught this unique group of students in her prior teaching year.

Micah is married to her husband, Clay, who works at Wheatland Rural Electrical Association as a lineman. Her three kiddos provide her with countless ways to enjoy her free time. William is a second-grader at Libbey, Mitchel is a kindergarten student at Libbey, and Ray is enjoying preschool. During their free time, you can find them enjoying their camper and traveling to see new sights and their families.

She is always working to improve their experiences, ensuring that each student has the tools necessary for success, not only in the classroom but also in their interactions with each other and their teachers. Mrs. Becker is further committed to continuously improving herself as well, knowing that an educator never truly stops learning.
