Coach Cochran took Waylon, Camryn, Desirae, and Gavin to Casper to represent Wheatland at the WHSAA Student Advisory Summit. Students work together and discuss ways to promote leadership, sportsmanship and being  good teammates. Our students then come back to campus with skills and ideas to share with our teams and student section on being positive influences for each other. By giving our students the opportunity to lead their peers, they are developing lifelong skills that will prepare them for the choices they make after high school in selecting postsecondary education, and work and military options. Wheatland HS is proud to support leadership opportunities for our students and we are proud that 85% of our students are college, career, and military ready. We will continue to work with our students, families, and stakeholders so we can say 100% of our students reach this benchmark!
